As exploration and environmental projects rely on increasingly large and complex geophysical datasets, the ability to perform rapid, objective, and defensible structural interpretation is more critical than ever. Geoscientists are under pressure to move beyond simple 2D maps and build comprehensive 3D models that accurately reflect the subsurface.Â
Â
This session of the Oasis montaj Mastery Series is designed for users who want to leverage advanced tools to semi-automate their interpretation workflow. You'll learn how to extract more quantitative data and create more geologically realistic outputs. By mastering these techniques, you can increase your efficiency, improve the accuracy of your models, and communicate your findings with greater confidence.Â
Â
This session in our Oasis montaj Mastery Series will teach you to: Â
- Perform semi-automated structural interpretation using CET Grid Analysis to rapidly and objectively identify linear structures.Â
- Clearly and professionally annotate your maps with structural symbols and interpretations to effectively communicate your geological story.Â
- Measure strike and dip from 3D voxels to extract accurate orientation data from faults and other geological bodies.Â
- Apply anisotropic gridding to honor the geological fabric of your data and create more realistic interpolations.Â
Run globally throughout 2026, our Oasis montaj Mastery Series takes you beyond routine workflows, teaching you the advanced skills to precisely process, filter, and analyse your data, to improve your interpretations.
Each session focuses on the reasoning, decisions, and workflow knowledge that helps you use Oasis montaj more confidently and effectively, whatever type of data you work with.
Join our dedicated community group created exclusively for this series, where you can dive into session discussions, tackle post-session challenges, take part in interactive polls, and stay connected with fellow participants throughout the journey.
