"Smart planning, Smart proessing, Smart discoveries"
UAVs have proven to be an effective tool in mineral exploration in recent years. Magnetic surveys have always been one of the easiest and cheapest ways to collect quick, yet useful geophysical data especially at early stages of exploration. Conducting magnetic surveys using UAVs seem to be easy enough to operate, process and deliver. However, hidden issues associated with the data collection and processing can lead to a lot of headaches down the road for the exploration. Planning , processing and delivering wisely requires a decent knowledge of geophysics and the right tools. Oasis montaj UAV Extension is the tool to be used for more effective and more reliable deliverables.

Kiya Parvar finished his undergraduate studies in Mineral Exploration Engineering in 2014. Later, and as a M.A.Sc. student at Queen’s, he developed and evaluated UAV platforms for geophysical surveys.
Kiya was involved with Pioneer Exploration from its early days in 2014 and helped to conduct some of the first UAV surveys.
"Using datasets to make Discoveries at Treasury Metals Goliath Gold Complex"
Treasury Metals Inc. (TML-TSX) amalgamated 65 kms (330 km2) of strike on the Wabigoon greenstone belt in late 2020. Although the belt has favourable geology, and is home to historic small scale mines, there has been surprisingly little work done to unlock the exploration potential of the larger land package. Treasury Metals is currently working on a pre-feasibility study that would include mining the Goliath, Goldlund and Miller gold deposits from a centrally located mill in Wabigoon, Ontario. Growth through exploration success could unlock additional value and be a game changer for the region. In 2021, the geology team amalgamated all the drill data into MX Deposits and began using Leapfrog and Central to create a unified geological model. Being able to use all of the historical datasets in one seamless software package has been a key element of the successful exploration campaign. Treasury is excited to share some of the recent exploration success and the outlook for exploration going forward.

"Satisfying the “reasonable prospects” requirement for underground deposits in Leapfrog"
In 2019, CIM provided updated guidelines to use when defining underground Mineral Resources. The guidelines included a firm requirement to demonstrate spatial continuity of mineralization within a potentially mineable shape developed with consideration to both economic and technical constraints. This presentation outlines different ways this requirement can be satisfied using Leapfrog based workflows.

"The Power of Seequent Central in Business Planning "
Since 2020, Newmont has leveraged the power of Seequent’s integration of Leapfrog Geo and Central products to move beyond spreadsheets and PowerPoint in our business planning processes. This was the first time in Newmont’s 100-year history that 3D visualization was utilized by all decision makers at every operation and project in a timely and consistent way. Today you will learn about the process and the power of consistent visualization and metrics to prioritize and optimize the business plan. We work smarter by leveraging implicit and dynamic workflows. We discover faster by integrating all available data and enforcing consistent naming, legends, and layout. The value of our subsurface data is extracted by rapid comparison of standard metrics to facilitate the prioritization of business objectives.
