â—¾ The fundamentals of Newmark analysis;
â—¾ How to combine multiple analyses using different products into a single modelling project;
â—¾ Steps for setting up a dynamic analysis in QUAKE/W, including earthquake record, material and boundary condition definitions;
â—¾ How to import QUAKE/W results in SLOPE/W to run the Newmark analysis; and

Kathryn Dompierre completed a M.Sc. in environmental policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Ph.D. in civil engineering at the University of Saskatchewan (Saskatoon, Canada). Her doctoral research explored the movement of pore water, contaminants, and energy through oil sands fine tailings using field testing and numerical analyses. She joined the GeoStudio engineering team in 2016, and now manages the learning and technical content related to GeoStudio. Kathryn is involved in the Women in Engineering committee for Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba and serves on the boards of two environmental NGOs: Lake Winnipeg Foundation and Manitoba Eco-Network.
