This course allows new users to get familiar with Leapfrog Works, covering essential workflows for preparing, importing, and managing borehole and other project data. Participants will learn to build, edit, and refine geological models, create surfaces from various data types, and dynamically update models. Outputs include geological and numeric models, output volumes, and project data exports.
New to Leapfrog Works or just looking for a refresher? Join us in this instructor-led remote course to learn the fundamental concepts and tools necessary to get you going in Leapfrog for environmental projects, including data import and visualisation, geological and numeric modelling workflows, dynamic model updating, output generation, data and model management and collaboration with Central, and model sharing.
This course will be delivered as 8-hour sessions run over the course of 4 days (4 x 4hr = 16 hr total)
To ensure a quality training experience for all participants, courses are capped at 10 attendees.
This event will be catered.
In this training, we will:
• Explore the Leapfrog Works interface
• Import an array of data types
• Discuss modelling strategy
• Build a geological model from borehole data using a variety of surface types
• Explicit editing of surfaces with trends, points, and polylines
• Quickly validate a first-pass build of a geologic model
• Quantify lithologic volumes
• Incorporate design files
• Dynamically update model with new borehole data
• Numerical Plume Modelling to get volumes and plume extent
• Borehole Planning for optimizing monitoring locations
• Export compatible data types to be used in various software packages
• Work with Groundwater data to create water table surfaces, models and contours
• Cross Sections and Other deliverables
Seequent will provide a 21‑day software training subscription for the training event. Please note that some enterprise accounts are not eligible for these training subscriptions.
