GeoStudio 2D offers a range of numerical analysis tools for simulating conditions at and below the ground surface, including SLOPE/W.
SLOPE/W analyzes the stability of soil slopes using the limit equilibrium method. This is done by defining the domain with one of the many geometry creation tools, selecting material models, then determining the factor of safety through analysis types such as Bishop, Janbu, and Morgenstern-Price and slip surface search techniques such as Entry and Exit and Cuckoo Search. The results can be analyzed right in SLOPE/W using the powerful graphing tools.
