Stefanos Papavasileiou is Senior Manager for Geotechnical Support for Seequent/Bentley Systems based in Delft, The Netherlands. He joined PLAXIS in 2012 and worked with the team of Quality Assurance before being part of the Support team.
His main task is to lead the geotechnical and numerical support experts to help PLAXIS users advance their geotechnical analysis knowledge.
Apart from user support, Stefanos is also involved in lecturing in courses, workshops, and online events about the application and backgrounds of geotechnical numerical modelling.
He holds a Master of Science degree from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece in Mining and Metallurgy Engineer, Geotechnology, and a second Master of Science degree in Design and Construction of Underground Works, also from NTUA.
Dennis obtained a Master's degree in Civil Engineering at Delft University of Technology before he joined PLAXIS in 1996 as a programmer. He has been involved for several years in the development of new PLAXIS products before shifting his main field of activity to user support and lecturing courses in 2002. Since 2006 he is the international course coordinator, a position he continued to fulfil when PLAXIS joined Bentley Systems in 2018 and Seequent in 2021.
