John Jackson

DAGCAP Program Manager

United States Army Corps of Engineers

John Jackson is a geophysicist with the Environmental
and Munitions Center of Expertise, United States Army Corps of
Engineers. He has over 15 years of experience in various near-surface geophysics applications but has primarily spent his time in the Military Munitions Response Program. More recently, he has focused on transferring Advanced Geophysical Classification from the research side into the practicing community. In 2018, he earned the role of Program Manager for the DoD Advanced Geophysical Classification Accreditation Program (DAGCAP).


Outside of work, Mr. Jackson has a passion for outdoor adventures, fostering dogs, and reminiscing about when international travel was possible. Mr. Jackson graduated with a B.S. in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
