Hydrogeological Modelling using Leapfrog Works

In this two-part series, we will explore the latest tools and workflows to assist you to get the most out of your Hydrogeological data.


This webinar series is suitable for new and experienced users looking to get Leapfrog Works tips and tricks.


Part One: 16 November
Vitor and Richard will guide you through the building of a 3D Hydrogeological model. They will then show you how to export this data as structured and unstructured grids to run hydrogeological simulations.

Part Two: 01 December

Vitor and Richard will guide you through the process for calculating hydrogeological parameters from a packer test, and how to use this as input to a 3D numeric model of hydraulic conductivity.


They will then show you how to export this data as structured and unstructured grids to run hydrogeological simulations.

At the conclusion of the series, you'll have learnt to do the following using Leapfrog Works:

Build a 3D hydrogeological model from borehole data

Generate meshes and contours to represent the groundwater elevation and depth

Add groundwater data to cross sections

Using tools in Leapfrog Works to estimate hydraulic conductivity from packer tests and PSD results

Generate numeric models to assess hydraulic conductivity

Create unstructured and structured Modflow/Feflow models and import simulation results

Use cloud connected interoperability with GeoStudio to run a transient model in Seep/W
