Resource models evolve as projects progress from exploration towards mining, and geologists need workflows that allow them to efficiently build, review and update their estimates as new data and changing requirements emerge.Â
This hands-on workshop follows an exploration-to-mining workflow. Participants will first develop an initial estimate for an exploration project before moving into an operational scenario where a smaller, focused area needs to be updated to support shorter-term resource modelling requirements.Â
The workshop focuses on the geological and estimation, helping participants understand how Leapfrog Edge fits into their day-to-day work and how connected solutions can add value across the wider workflow.Â
What will be covered:Â
• Building an initial resource estimate for an exploration project in Leapfrog Edge. Â
• Reviewing the estimate and understanding the key stages of the Edge estimation workflow. Â
• Updating the model and estimate as new information becomes available. Â
• Working with a smaller, focused area to support short-term resource modelling requirements. Â
• Exploring how Imago can complement geological and resource modelling workflows. Â
• Using Seequent Central as part of a connected modelling workflow. Â
• Exploring how BlockSync can connect resource modelling with downstream workflows. Â
• Understanding how an integrated approach can support the transition from exploration through resource modelling and into mining.Â
Â
Maximum Capacity:
To ensure a quality training experience for all participants, course groups remain small. Once the registration limit is reached, additional registrants will be added to a waitlist and notified if a spot becomes available.
